Color Me Courageous Exhibition

Color Me Courageous: Glimpses of a Healing Journey Through Art Expressions by artist Rosepromevere is a celebration of the therapeutic power of art. This exhibition observes the way creativity can mend our body, uplift our soul, and remind us of our inner strength. The artwork depicts a journey of healing, courage, and peace. Whether you are walking through grief, finding your way back to health or simply needing a moment of beauty, these works were created with you in mind.

Roseprimeve is an internationally collected artist who specializes in non-traditional methods of painting. Her primary medium is acrylic on canvas, and she also enjoys experimenting with fluid painting. She started painting in 2017 to process complicated grief and states, “in those days, it was my only way to express the inexpressible. Painting has since given me renewed excitement for life.”

Each painting begins with emotions, memories, or unspoken truths that will not stay silent. They find their voice in bold colors, flowing textures, and vibrant shapes. Some pieces were created with a specific soul in mind, such as a person in need of courage, comfort, or simply a reminder that joy is still possible.

Former exhibitions include features at the African American Research Library in Ort Lauderdale, Dania Beach City Hall, Plunge Resort in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, and Artserve in Sunrise Florida. Roseprimevere’s singular focus is to paint expressions of resilience across cultures. She invited you to experience how art can comfort, uplift and remind us of our inner strength.

Color Me Courageous is on view by appointment through March 31, 2026, at the Healing Arts Gallery at AIHOM, located at 507 NE 8th Road, Ocala. The exhibition stands as both a celebration of life and a reminder that healing, too, can be colorful.
